Who is Speaki, and what is this desktop pet?
Speaki is a character from Trickcal whose small, expressive meme incarnation is often called Spiki. If you arrived here after seeing a tiny pale-haired character in a dark hood, you may be looking for those reaction images and animations. Know Your Meme documents the name Speakiposting for videos and images built around the character. Its overview distinguishes the game character from the simplified meme appearance.
This page introduces a separate, unofficial Speaki desktop pet animation pack made for CodePets. It contains nine AI-generated, sticker-style loops, with previews below. It is not an official Trickcal download, a game reward, or an extract of the original game animation. CodePets is not affiliated with or endorsed by the game creators.
The practical question is what you want to do with the character. A GIF is useful for watching or sharing a short reaction. An animation pack provides frames for a compatible pet client. A complete desktop pet application supplies the software that displays and controls a character. These are different things, even when search results use similar names.
Speaki, Spiki and the look people recognize
Community character references use Speaki for the Trickcal character and Spiki for the smaller meme depiction. Japanese searches may use スピッキー for the character or スピキ for the meme. Those alternate names can help when you are looking for visual references, although individual fan uploads do not always use the tags consistently.
Our version keeps the pale hair, dark hood, round cheeks, tiny body and simple mouth that make the silhouette easy to read. It is a polished fan-art interpretation, not a pixel-for-pixel recreation of a particular reaction image. The soft shading and tidy outlines are more detailed than the rougher meme drawings.
At desktop size, a small change to the eyes can be more visible than a detailed piece of clothing. That is why the preview includes quiet blinking and sleepy poses alongside larger arm gestures. Watch the character at the size you would actually use, rather than judging it only from an enlarged image.
The motion references behind this pack
The reference search focused on three useful kinds of fan animation: dancing, holding candy while changing expression, and lying down. The linked Tenor posts identify their uploaders and provide the source examples. They helped define the action ideas; their GIF frames are not the files distributed in this pack.
The first CodePets concept had three rows: a dance, a candy hug and a playful lying pose. Expanding it to nine actions meant giving each row a different purpose. A wave reads as a greeting. A sleepy nod gives the character a quiet moment. A stretch opens the silhouette, while the cheek and heart poses bring the hands close to the face.
We did not add extra names to copies of one animation. Each row has its own set of four key drawings. Some actions share a seated starting pose, but the movement and expression change from row to row. The labels describe these visible gestures, not events that an installed desktop app is guaranteed to recognize.

Gentle blink keeps the seated body quiet while the eyelids lower. Hello wave lifts an arm into a greeting and adds a playful expression. Sway dance leans the body and moves the arms, then returns through the same poses. It is a short sway rather than a walking or running cycle.
Candy hug raises a pink wrapped sweet toward the face and squeezes it close. Sleepy nod gradually lowers the eyelids and tips the head. Big stretch takes the arms from the lap to an open, raised position. These three give you a contrast between a prop-based gesture, a quiet rest and a larger movement.
Bashful cheeks brings both hands up beside the face. Foot wiggle keeps the character lying in the same direction while the feet lift. Heart hug raises and cuddles a pink heart, with small heart details in the expressive frames. All nine previews below are generated from the same sprite sheet used for the pack.
Let each one repeat before choosing a favorite. A movement can look charming once but feel busy on a second monitor. For a quiet workspace, start with the blink or sleepy nod. For a short reaction or introduction, try the wave, candy hug or heart pose. Those are suggestions about the visual mood, not claims about productivity or emotional benefits.

What is inside the animation pack?
The core files are pet.json and spritesheet.webp. The JSON manifest identifies the character and points to the sprite sheet. The WebP image contains nine rows, with eight frame positions in each row. Each frame occupies 192 by 208 pixels, making the full sheet 1536 by 1872 pixels. The artwork has a transparent background.
The package is an art asset for a compatible client. It does not contain a standalone desktop application, a voice model, background music, an AI chatbot or a keyboard listener. You will not hear the familiar meme audio just by installing the image files. The candy and heart are visual props; they do not implement a feeding or inventory system.
This distinction matters if you searched for a Speaki desktop pet expecting something that walks across every window or reacts when clicked. Those behaviors need application code and client support. The CodePets browser preview demonstrates the drawings and their order. It does not demonstrate every possible host application feature.
Why eight frames does not mean eight new drawings
Each action was generated as four progressive key poses. The pack plays them in this order: 0, 1, 2, 3, 3, 2, 1, 0. Returning through the earlier poses creates a small reversible loop without horizontally mirroring the character. This is particularly useful for keeping the hood decoration on the same side.
There are 36 key drawings across nine actions and 72 frame positions in the final sheet. The first and last positions use the same drawing. That construction avoids a different picture at the wraparound, but it cannot remove every change in shape between the intermediate drawings. Small differences in hair, hands and clothing remain.
The intended result is a short animated sticker. If you want fluid walking, a long dance routine or continuous physics, four key poses are not enough to establish those behaviors. Changing a speed slider only changes playback timing. It does not create missing movement or turn the artwork into a rigged character.
How to preview and install a Speaki pet pack
Start on the product page and select each action. Use pause when you want to compare the face, hands and props. Check the outline on the page and inspect the sleepy and lying rows separately: changing posture is where differences in apparent size are easiest to notice. Read the compatibility note before purchasing.
After downloading, extract the ZIP and keep the pet folder intact. The manifest and sprite sheet belong together inside that folder. Follow the CodePets installation guide for the destination used by your client and operating system. Do not rename one of the files without also understanding how the manifest refers to it.
Keep your original ZIP as a backup. If the character does not appear, check for an extra nested folder, confirm the final file location, and refresh the pet list as described in the guide. When requesting help, include the operating system, application version and a description of the failure. You do not need to share a password or a private recovery link.
Native desktop installation and state mapping have not been verified for this particular pack. A browser preview is useful for choosing the artwork, but you should not treat it as proof of compatibility with every desktop pet program.
Is it free, official, or part of Trickcal?
Watching the previews on this page is free. The downloadable CodePets catalog pack follows the existing $5 per-pack purchase flow; check the current product page and pricing terms before paying. It is a separate fan-art asset, not an official game item, and buying it does not grant a license to the underlying character or permission to resell the character artwork.
The pack also does not unlock anything inside Trickcal. If you are looking for the original game character, in-game acquisition instructions or official merchandise, use the game publisher’s channels. Fan animation galleries are useful for discovering interpretations, but an uploader’s use of a character name is not an endorsement from the original creators.
For CodePets purchases, retain the purchase email and save the downloaded files. The site provides a recovery page for purchased packs; the current flow allows two downloads per pack. The pricing, refund and contact pages explain the purchase route and support process.
How this version was made and checked
The first three-action concept was expanded with an AI image tool. Its first nine-action sheet failed the frame-separation check because some drawings were too close together. A second layout added wider transparent gutters, then the frames were separated, aligned and assembled into the final sheet. The original drafts were kept so the repair can be traced.
The resulting geometry checks confirm that all 72 cells contain artwork and that the normalized frame edges are clear. These are file and layout checks. They do not prove that every motion is perfectly smooth, that native clients map states as intended, or that a real payment and delivery have been tested.
The previews are the most useful evidence for deciding whether this version matches the look you want. It keeps a more polished chibi appearance than the simplest Spiki reaction drawings. If that distinction matters to you, compare the previews with the linked references before choosing the pack.
For a first look, start with the sway dance, candy hug and foot wiggle. Then compare the quiet blink and sleepy nod. The full nine-action preview is linked below, alongside installation help and a separate guide to judging transparent animation loops.
